Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Do you provide a guarantee for
your resume services? Absolutely!
I have a 100% satisfactory guarantee; so if
you are dissatisfied with the final written copy
of your resume or cover letter, I rewrite it at no charge.
I want you to be thrilled with the finished
materials.
Is
my information secure?
The only
information I have on file include your name,
address, and employment history. Payments are
processed by PayPal, one of the most secure
payment systems on the Internet today.
What's your process for writing my
resume?
Should
you opt to work with me, details about my
writing process are included at that time.
What format will my resume be
in?
Documents are provided as MS Word
(.doc) files, so you can open, tweak, and
manipulate the text. I can provide the file in
different versions, such as PDF or ASCII/text
only.
Do you write resumes for transitioning
military?
I do
write resumes for transitioning military --
whether they are focused on a civilian career or
one with a government agency. Am I experienced?
Yes, I work with a fair number of separating
military from Wright-Patterson AFB and
Springfield ANG.
Do you write resumes for government jobs?
Yes, I
am quite familiar with the USAJobs/Resumix
system. What I do is develop a resume that
adheres to the system's categories; i.e. work
experience, education, language skills,
professional affiliates, and so on. I’m aware of
the site’s limitations, such as the 3,000
character limitation for job duties … so the
content I provide will be tightly written.

Seasoned
Writer --
I'm
credentialed and a very seasoned resume
writer. I've been writing resumes since
1999. As a skilled resume writer, I know
about writing resumes that cater to resume
management systems, yet not forgetting that
a "real" person will review your resume at
some point. It's important that your resume
be keyword heavy, yet have a nice skim
factor and be visually pleasing as well.

Bunches of
Great Client Comments
--
I have an
extensive record with clients. Check out the
many
client comments here at the Resume to
Referral website, as well as, the
growing list of
client comments at my LinkedIn profile.
It's an impressive list! Would it surprise
you to learn these are only a fraction of
what I've received? Yeah, I'm not kidding.

Clients Get
Results -- I
generate measurable success ... not mere job
offers, but I build confidence in my clients
as well. Clients love working with me
because I'm professional and personable.
They get a high-touch experience that's
missing from other services.
-
One-On-One Service
--
When you contract with me, I write your
resume ... it's not contracted to a
low-level writer with little resume writing
experience, like you'll see with
high-volume job boards with newly added
resume services.
-
Written
Works Worth Publishing --
My documents are continuously being published,
solidifying that I maintain high standards for
writing projects. When you review my
resume samples, you're viewing works *I
have written* not something culminated by a
pool of writers -- like you'll see at
other sites.
-
Credentialed
Resume Writer
-- I'm credentialed and continue my
education because it's in the best interest
of my clients ... I'm a Certified Professional Resume Writer
(CPRW) and Certified Employment Interview Professional
(CEIP), and I held the Credentialed Career Master
(CCM) credential for several
years.
Interview Me -- Not sure who to hire with something as critical as your resume?
Interview me!
I don't mind discussing your project with
you. This way, you're given a better idea of
what I have in mind for improving your resume.
Are
your fees negotiable?
No, I'm sorry,
they are not.
Do
you accept payments for services?
Honestly,
payments don't work well with my turnaround
time. Projects are typically completed within
5-15 business days; and since I require payment
upfront before releasing the resume draft,
you'll need the full amount paid within that
timeline.
I am flexible ... What I can do however
is stretch your project over a longer period of
time; i.e. 3-5 weeks. This way, you'll make a
1/2 payment upfront, enough to get me started,
with the balance paid before delivering the
resume draft. Just know, I will hold the resume
draft until final payment is made. Payments
could be stretched a bit further, if necessary.
